While entertaining full time, Cooksey began writing stories. Her fictional characters are drawn from the rich medley of people and situations she experienced.

She and her husband, John, own EVT Technologies. Together they do market trend analysis, viral video productions, and consult with both local and out-of-state businesses in advertising and promotion, using social media platforms.

Anne Talmage Cooksey lives in Hot Springs, Arkansas with her husband and two sons.
